How to put together the perfect kids’ Easter basket + Win a $100 gift card

With three kids Easter is always so much fun! But it can also get stressful and crazy. Now that they are growing up it’s not as easy as it used to be. So here are some tips if you are also having a bit of a hard time filling up baskets for the kiddos.

  1. Pick a theme: If your kids are anything like mine they all like different things, and although my 4 year old is not that picky, it’s getting harder and harder to make the perfect basket for my 11 year old. So don’t limit yourself to just the Easter selection, stores like Kmart have awesome to selections so you can really find cool (not kiddie, like my 11 year old says) things for the older kids baskets. For my daughter I’m going with Beauty and the Beast since she’s obsessed with and my 4 year old will get Paw Patrol. So just make sure you find your kids favorite character or interest and run with it.
  2. Less is more with the candy: If you have at least one Easter egg hunt planned you want to make sure you take it easy on the candy. Pick a couple of your child’s favorite treats and make sure they get those, but the best baskets have cool toys and fun stuff not just candy.
  3. Save time: I don’t know about you but I hate going to several stores and wasting my whole day shopping. That’s why I love stores like Kmart, they have absolutely everything you need for your Easter feast to all the toys and treats for your baskets!
  4. Save money: Easter can get pricey so make sure you are shopping at a place with a great selection (like Kmart) so you don’t have to go to several places and waste gas and find some deals! Lucky for you I found these great coupons to make sure you have the best candy to fill your baskets and eggs.
